Achieve restaurant-quality smash burgers at home with this heavy-duty round cast iron press. Engineered to flatten patties evenly, it creates maximum surface contact for superior crust development and caramelization. The substantial weight and smooth cooking surface work seamlessly on griddles, cast iron skillets, and flat-top grills.

Equally effective for pressing bacon, steaks, and other proteins, this versatile kitchen tool delivers professional results with minimal effort. Built to last generations with proper seasoning and care.

After Each Use

  1. Let it cool completely.

  2. Wipe off grease and food with a paper towel.

  3. If needed, rinse with warm water and use a soft brush or sponge.

    • ❌ No soaking

    • ❌ No dishwasher

    • ❌ No harsh soap (a tiny drop is okay if very greasy)

Dry Immediately

  1. Dry thoroughly with a towel.

  2. To be extra safe, place it on a warm burner for 30–60 seconds to remove moisture.

Oil to Prevent Rust

  1. Rub a very thin layer of cooking oil (canola, vegetable, or grapeseed) over the surface.

  2. Wipe off excess — it should look dry, not shiny.

Storage

  1. Store in a dry place.

  2. If stacking, place a paper towel between items to absorb moisture.

If It Rusts (Easy Fix)

  • Scrub rust with steel wool

  • Rinse, dry completely

  • Re-oil lightly

Helpful suggestion:
If you use it often, keep it lightly oiled at all times — cast iron actually gets better the more you use it.
